“Holly was everything I could have hoped for as Ellen in our (ultimately virtzual) production of STEAL HER BONES. She brought a rich blend of intelligence, emotional depth and passion to the role, drawing the audience into a palpable intimacy that helped transcend the limitations of a streamed theatre event.”

Seth Rozin
Director, Steal Her Bones

“As a dedicated and adventurous artist, Holly brings to each process so many facets of her own humanity — from the courageous to the quirky. There’s an incredibly deep specificity and concentration within her playfulness — a fascination with the words, the space, the possibilities, and the moment. All of this made her work in Earnest delightfully unpredictable, a little bit dangerous, and very funny. Her performance as Lady Bracknell was fierce, focused, and wonderfully weird. Like some regal, underground rockstar entering the stage — part Buckingham Palace and part CBGB’s.”

Jim VanValen
Director, The Importance of Being Earnest

“Cate manages to stand out in a show with one of the largest and most accomplished casts in daytime. She’s brought dimension to an unsympathetic character who easily could have become one-note in the hands of a lesser
actress”
